It was a cocky way of showing it, but M did care about others. The battles she has faced though has made her quite wary of others though. Because neither she, nor anyone else knows what side she may actually end up on.
M took a seat near the two crossing one leg over the other, and resting both her arms on the table.

no worries on that, if she wears what i have given her she will never befall any harm she didn't put herself into, though if that will help is anyone's guess, i can't hardly 'see' her at all

M didn't question what the woman had given her, it wasn't much her business anyways. However, she was curious about this owner. "You are a rebel, are you not? But I feel we have much the same opinions."

i am no more a rebel than a loyalist but to call myself a loyalist now is to die and that would do no-one any good, easier to say i am misguided than a defector, besides in a way i /am/ a rebel just not the sort that run around here *she smiled beamingly at the woman, looking very old and very young in the same moment*

"I suppose you could say the same for me. Though not misguided as much as I just chose not to pick sides though born within the castle walls." M only examined the woman for a moment before closing her eyes, as she did more often in quite areas than she had use to.

*Blinked up groggy from the woman's lap, smiling a little sleepy before the small, pale girl curled in tighter and just reached a small hand out towards M, a squeaky high pitched yawn escaping her mouth.* M..mrrr.... H..hullo..

there is a kettle of acorn tea if you need it, it's terrible tasting but will help your head and clear your mind if only by virtue of being just that yucky

*she looked down* you are feeling a little better yes?

"Hello, petit." M's smile was small as usual, but meaningful towards the little one. She gently clasped her hand in hers and shook it in greeting. Looking back to the owner, "I wouldn't want to overdue my welcome."

*Just smiled lightly nodding as she squeezed the woman's hand back tail twitching up*

"Well I must admit we are all an odd set," M rebutted in a playful manner. "And I haven't even gotten either of your names."

oh but speaking of help, i had a question for sweetie, i really need help running this mess hall, would you like to stay a little while and help? *she looking back up she smiled and leaned back on her palms* you can call me cho or choco if you like^^

*Blinked with big eyes as she nodded hugging lightly to the woman with a squeak* Y..yes... and.. I am.. R..Rumiel... Master used to.. call me Rumi.. or.. *she gazed away ears flattening down* N..nevermind..
