well you can always recycle them when you're done, most stores have a cardboard dumpster you can use...if you're stealthy

Boxes are boxes are boxes. You take and use what you can get. If you're afraid of them being wasted, take them to a recycling center or something.

and beleive it or not, if you go and ask for liquid transport boxes at a grocery store, they'll be made of cardboard,b ut can move 4-8 gallon sized containers at a time, they're really the best for books.
