It's too confusing.

Are pearls no longer able to be acquired via posting?
I missed out on a lot of items...rofl

No not any more, you can still buy pearl items, but they won't be given out. only crystals and very rarely Queen's Jewel since we are in part two of the event (civil War)

lammmmeeee I managed to miss out on..A LOT of things I wanted from pearls. maybe I can sell all these jewels Im getting for some pearls or something...blah

I have 18 pearls. I can give them to ya, can't do a thing with them now.
