Quiet, maybe your keyboard is getting back at you for various imagined misdeeds against it? Like mine does, I'm sure :p

I'm inclined to think it's not the keyboard as much as some imp looking over my shoulder or whispering things in my ears about broad bards and flaying ninja.

I also go tend to type too fast for my own good at times and don't want to take the time to backtrack and rewrite things. I also cut my nails recently, which makes me skid all over the place while I have to relearn where my fingertips are again. ;), My nails are an easy inch from cuticle to tip when they're grown out.

Ahh, Quiet, I usually don't let my nails get that long. They could, but they start getting in the way before they are even half an inch long.

I'm used to it since i have them log quite frequently. It started because I really am *that* lazy about cutting my fingernails. They get sharp and catch on things and I dislike dealing with nail files. Blah! Happy to just file them once and leave them alone for a while. It's only when they hit the one inch mark that I start to have trouble.

*insert cricket chirping sound effect*

Um... yeah, fingernails, riveting topic. Do carry on. :p

*band is playing the final strings of their song. They finish with a flourish. Crickets start chirping. Crying, band flees off stage. Cricket audience shouts:*

"It's all we know how to do!"

Hey, Jurinjo. I'm doing... fairly well, going back to college in two weeks, which I'm not happy about, but other than that, things are pretty good. Yourself?

Edit: Oh, and I have to do this stupid online alcohol awareness class before I can complete registration for my classes and it's really getting on my nerves. I don't drink. At all. Never will. I shouldn't have to sit through this.

What in the world does an online alcohol awareness class consist of? I guess it's kind of nice that they want you to take it...but...seriously? >.>

It was... three hours of mini-videos filmed by the school's communications department, depicting all manner of contrived situations with cringe-inducing acting, then asking blindingly-obvious questions about them afterward.

I think my favorite was on the comprehensive quiz at the end:

Not to mention, the survey I had to take makes me look like I'm a belligerent alcoholic since it doesn't take non-drinkers into account. No, I'm not going to change my drinking habits. No, I'm not going to monitor by BAC more closely. No, I'm not going to concoct elaborate plans to rescue my nonexistent friends from the nonexistent parties we go to and try to non-existentially drive home drunk from!

What a complete waste of my time. I should have been able to sign some sort of waiver.
