No, no, I HAVE a USB mouse. I just don't use the click, because it's loud, and who the heck needs to click every five seconds if they're supposedly just "writing an essay"? >.>

Do you use tab and then enter for posting. I do that near my parents all the time. And then use Alt + Tab to change back to whatever I was "wroking on" before.

@Funk: Dude, my parents check my tabs, windows, and history. And taskbar. Which is why I use Opera; it doesn't just minimize--it hides.

Oh god, you make me feel old now. I remember when Messenger Plus introduced a 'hidden' feature that disguised itself as a work icon. I thought that was awesome for when dear mother entered the room. Then I could get back to my primitive roleplaying on MSN.

And then I turned 14.

I don't think my parents even know that anything exists on the internet beyond Facebook and Youtube. Trying to explain the concept of a message board to them would likely be... amusing. Let alone play-by-post roleplaying. :p

My mother can never understand how I manage to spend 10+ hours in my room at a time without getting bored/going insane.

My parents didn't give a crap what I did on the computer. Seriously. They just let me be zombified in front of it. My mother once used my scanner and had to dig through my pictures - which were littered with graphic yaoi - to find the ones she needed. I was mortified, but she never said anything. =/
