Vincent blinks a bit, caught off guard by that. "Um....don't really know to tell you the truth. Never really did the dating thing." He didn't really bother with dating...he wasn't really interested, but that's because he wasn't with someone. "So..no clue. What's yours?"

Alex chuckled slight at the other's answer but was too caught off guard when he was asked that question. He thought for a moment before speaking, "Um...well I've only gone out really on two dates...one in second year...at the summer...she was a muggle...my idiotic father did the oblivate spell on her after that date...the second was really a matchup by a few friends from BeauxBatons when they came over to Ireland for the summer...didn't end well.." Alex said, chuckling with a smirk as he remebered the Magical Taoiseacht trying to sort out the sighlose spell he put on his date by accident.

Vient snorts and chuckles a bit as Alex is caught off guard by the question. His ears flatten back a bit. "Ah...why would he do that?" It doesn't make sense to him since most muggles will try to rationalize anything they saw away. It is surprising how much they will do that. "What happened?" He's curious.

Alex shrugged slightly, "I'm not sure...I took her on a normal muggle date...left everything magical at home...went to the cinema...et cetera...but as I was walking her home my dad was at the door, we were both confused before i saw him incate a spell..the memory lose spell...Oblivate..." Alex said to the other, looking down.

Vincent's ears flatten back and he kind of whines a bit. "No offense..but he sounds kind of douchebaggy. It doesn't make sense at all to me." He wraps an arm around Alex a bit. "I'm sorry that that happened to you..." He doesn't really know what to say/do right now to make it better kind of, but he wants to make it better.

Alex smiled slightly as the other hugged him, "It's okay...his defence was I thought I used a love potion on her...bad thing is he works at the ministry..." Alex said with a small sigh, he flinched slightly as he felt the other's hair hit off his destroyed neck with burns and scars...they would never go away.

"I assumed you didn't since most people...couldn't make a good one if they tried..." Including Vincent himself too probably, but he's never tried either. "I'm glad I don't really know anyone who works with the government." They'd have problems to say the least. He kind of pulls away and whimpers a bit when he sees Alex flinch. "I'm sorry." His ears are drooping and all.

Alex chuckled slightly, " Well I do know how to make one...I took a summer course in first year...and my mother is a Potion Master in BeauxBaton..." Alex told the other with a small smile before shaking his head, "It's okay..." Alex told the other with a smile.

"I don't think they're particularly useful. It isn't really love if you use that is it?" That's just Vincent's position on it. "Though....if you could make a weak one...to get someone to notice you...and then let nature do the rest..." He shrugs a bit. Some people need a boost. His ears are flicking and twitching a bit. "You sure?" He didn't mean to hurt him or anything. He needs to be more careful.

He nodded to him, smiling, "Yea it won't be real love...well unless you give the person the potion everyday of their life..." Alex said with a slight chuckle before nodding his head towards him, "Want more chocolate?"

"That's a little too much desperate for me even if I didn't have you. Kinda creepy desperate." Especially since you have to slip it to them in some way or another. Makes it even creepier. Vincent still doesn't look like he's sure that everything's okay, but he says nothing. "Chocolate is good. Even health wise. Like a square of dark chocolate...every week? lowers the chance of stroke..." Random trivia there.

Alex chuckled at the other, "Very nice indeed..." Alex told the other as he smiled at him. After a second Alex decided to ask the other, "How would like to go to out on a proper date...on our next Hogsmeade day trip?" Alex asked with a smile.

"True facts right there." It random information and random statements from Vincent. Yay! He makes a kind of a questioning noise and looks at Alex with his head tilted just a bit and his ears twitching/flicking a bit. He's lightly blushing a bit. "Ah...sure?" he smiles a bit. He'll probably be awkward, but whatever.

Alex chuckled slightly at the other, "We've been going out for a while...so we deserve a little date don't we?" Alex told the other as he snapped off another piece of choclate before he began to eat it, smiling at the other.

Vincent is still blushing a bit. "Yeah....sounds good," He still smiling a bit with his ears flicking a bit embarrassedly. He just randomly leans over and kisses him, stealing a bit of chocolate at the same time. There is a reason. "Goal achieved." Kiss and chocolate, it's a good combination for him at least.
