OMG. Neirra, I always get freaking paranoid over things like that. It can happen at anytime. Like it was last week I was rolling the trashcans down my grandparent's drive way, at night. I saw a car in the middle of the street in front of a neighbor's house with loud rap music, and a few guys with baggy pants and huge shirts. I didn't stare at them, but in my mind I was like getting shot over and over again. I started to run back to the house as fast as possible trying to out run the bullets or be able to get to the house to be able to dodge them. I have had several scary experiences.

I remember several occasions where I walked from church back to my grandparents' house. The church is right across the street from my granparens' house. But there is this HUGE side parking lot and you can see down the street. I have seen dark figures walk up and down the streets before. Some, I saw the faces of and immediately ran and struggled to get in the door and bolt it before they could do something rash.

Well ever since my family found out what has been going on there hasn't been anything. I feel safe, but not as safe as I felt before all of this. It makes me feel really... odd to not feel safe in my own home. :(

Word might spread that the cops and what are watching the place, so I imagine it would be safer for now.

I've never really worred much about robbery or being attacked or anything like that but I guess it all depends on where you live. There are some streets that I don't like walking down at night and I practice general defensive things, like avoiding dark sidewalks or shadowy areas and walking on the road instead, and generally being mindful lof what's around me. It becomes fairly unconscious with pratice.

My sister has the usual dog signs though no "Beware of Dog" since it can make bad press for the dog. She has one that has a picture of her dog and says "We can make it to the fence in three seconds. Can you?"

My grandfather also has a sign that reads "trespassers will me shot" next to a bison skull with a bullet hole in it. He actually did shoot that one. ;)

The other day my neighbour said that a man in a blue vehicle who she has seen driving up and down our street stopped in front of our house, parked, went down our driveway and lifted himself up to look into our yard. When she started to approach him to question him about what he was doing he ran to his car and drove off.

I'm not going to be able to sleep ever again.

I don't want to get robbed. At least I'm going to my boyfriend's house this weekend, I'll be able to sleep.
