here, i don't want to just throw it away, i actually tried to make it accurate(though i could not find shit) you can read it if you'd like or use it too

the ship drew up upon them quickly as they turned to face at it sideways, their cannons ready but not yet visible. with guns gleaming the frigate pulled close enough for them to see a battle ensign go up on the other ship, a war flag. the men all went to their posts then, even without their jack yet flying the navy knew them to be pirates. everyone readied as the ship turned sideways baring it's guns. at such a close range the frigate had the advantage. they either had to pull out of range to give the cannons a chance or pull straight in and capture the ship. felix turned towards his captain at the same time as damaris, whatever he chose would be their stand until the end. they both waited for his command.
