My bill was a little over 2k, covering three impacted teeth and general aneasthetic and a consult with an anaesthetist. Glad I got them out though I tend to clench my jaw at night and used to wake up with nasty jaw pain. With my teeth out the pain is less and I'm not getting as many headaches, and the one's I go get only last for a few hours rather than several days.

I used to have an amazing dentist but he doesn't take on patients without insurance.

My mom canceled my dentist appointment because my wisdom teeth don't hurt at all

Just because they don't hurt...that doesn't mean they aren't causing problems. Mine didn't hurt, but they made my teeth all crooked and shit.

There are arguments going about wisdom teeth removal when they don't appear to be causing any issues. So many people end up needing them removed that it's pre-emtively done now I think. Good to get an x-ray though and make sure your wisdoms aren't gearing up to do anything nasty.

Well mine, have made my teeth crooked as hell which I didn't notice until recently.

And I also found out that my insurance only covers 2 visits a year so they didn't fully covering the cleaning I just got. Good way to punish those who want to get pre-emptive dentistry.
