I understand how Kasdeja could come off as overbearing. I do feel like he's railroading us a bit, but I will just say, I actualled introduced him as a failsafe in case we get into a situation where we'd otherwise be totally annihilated. He really just wants to tag along. Not to mention, it feels kind of weird having no NPCs to interact with.

Well, IC, I don't like him at all, but what you say is true. I think that kas needs some sort of alternative motive. Something that kinda makes him different than most nephs.

Lev is not far, but she's not to that point yet. He's just making her unseasy. Being deformed herself she's not as icked out by Mr. Neph as she could be, but he's getting further up there in the creepy scale now.
