I found an exalted Nanook in my basket!

hording money is always a good thing.

I spend $131 on fabric for a pirate costume today plus over twice that on the corset I bought a few years back which I am building he costume around. It's gonna be an expensive costume and all the fabric was on sale @_@
I found these adorable gold buttons with gryphons on them.
maybe I will have to take a picture of the fabrics and shoe you guys

Hee hee. That's great Feyth. Looks pretty though a bit revealing for me ;). That's what makes it a corset though, I suppose.

If you can make clothes like that, it would be somehthing you could do for money I imagine too, if you're in need of something to do when evil job is gone. Clothes for ball jointed dolls sell for piles too if they are nice enough. I was looking at a BJD for a while but the darn clothes cost so much it would have been a mean hobby, money wise.

i am making a shirt to go under it one with the puffy sleaves with ruffles at the end all pirate like! And a pirate coat!

to go with the corset I am making the coat from the top picture the pants from the bottom picture and the top from the big picture. I know it's small but it gives you an idea.

Nice! And here I'm just going to a store bought cat costume to replace my last store bought cat costume. I intend to use it for many years to come. :).

That is, until I finally get around to my Cabaret Emcee costume but that might happen later, like when my next birthday rolls around. Instead of my usual tea party (usuall as of the past 2 years) I'll make everyone show up in costume or something. :p. Ha!

I'll prolly go as the crow again ._.

Trying to find what I'm looking for as far as emcee pictures but they are all rather risque for the most part. Such is the play though. ;). I'd go for the coat with tails and bowler hat look myself but as long as one has the iconic overdone make-up (white face, rosey cheeks, heavy liner) pretty much anything goes. Bare chested with suspenders and garters seems to be fairly routine. :p
