It's just going through a bright time. I'm pretty sure it's tomorrow ^_^

Tonight is the first night of the full moon, tomorrow is the "official" full moon and the day it's at it's peak, then it has one more day before it begind to wane. Dark moon's the same.

Out of curiosity Tai-chan, does Jen turn into a complete wolfy at this time of month???

Spiritually I'd say yes. She gets this look in her eyes. It's cute ^_^ I have to stop her howling so late at night so not to wake up my parents XD

Luke's the same, wonder why. Although the lok in his eyes isn't so much cute as predatory and slightly scary.

Anyway, for those interested, did you know that the full moons of the year each have a name??? October's full moon is called the Hunters' Moon or the Blood Moon. It's supposed to be the largest full moon of the year.

It also goes some way to explain my poor Luke's wolfy-tendencies. He's born in Janurary, and one of the old names for the January full moon is, yep you've guessed it; the Wolf Moon!

Not many people use these names now, but in spell work they each have an association for those who choose to use them.

Hehe I find the predatory look cute. :D

Cool ^_^

I'm thinking of starting an online teaching group. Just wondered if anyone would be interested before I get started.

Nearly forgot the full moon yesterday; then got out of the shower, took one look at the door, and decided, No way in hell am I going out there without a jacket. So. Damn. Cold.

LMAO Tell me about it. It's been freezing of late.

You guys are lucky it's been unseasonably warm for me.
Hopefully we're getting a cold snap soon. Nearly mid October and
we've still got the AC on!

Really? Well that sucks. We had that about a week ago, and it was awful.

Boo the cat has been cuddling my ponies lol

The english weather can't decide what it wants to do right now, at least here in the SW. It's either hot and muggy or freezing and windy lol.

The closest i got to seeing the moon was last night, on the final night of the full moon, when i could see her through the clouds for half an hour or so. Shpooky ^.^
