I am super tempted to donate on my mules. o.o being a dirt-poor college student with a handy debit card that should be paying for food and housing is not good... but the items are sooooo pretty...
I got a checking account with WaMu right before they closed, so I get to have free checking for life with Chase. :D
I have just enough money to pay for all my housing/meal plan payments through the end of the semester, and a little bit left over. the little bit is not enough to pay for my textbooks, however. >.> I'll probably have to defer one of my housing payments until I get the second half of my student loan, which means I'll have an extra $500 at the end of the year...which should really be used for next semester's housing/food/books, but is there reeeeally that much harm in spending $20 of it here? >.>
XD the funny thing is, my meal plan gives me $11 for food daily. I can't actually eat that much! it rolls over but once I hit $100 it stops giving me money. I hit $100 today so I went shopping and bought a bunch of junk food for my roommate, then went out and bought lunch for myself and my boyfriend. and I still have too much money. XD I would do so much better budgeting my money and cooking for myself, but freshmen in the dorms are required to have a meal plan.
I don't get to actually see a cent of my scholarship money because it's specifically half-tuition. so they just deduct the charge from my account.
