The movie wasn't bad... To be honest I'd prefer normal Disney art, I will admit it was pretty but the whole 3D animation thing is bleh. Only dreamworks and pixar can pull those kinds of movies out right. Well dreamworks is on and off about it but they have a few good titles.
The movie's songs sucked, no offense. The Princess and the Frog had much better music, this movie.. Well. It looks like the music was just thrown in there.
Overall I'm not impressed but it's still a good movie in a way, I wouldn't mind watching it again if it was on ABC family or something. I would never pay to see it though xD
as well as the male isn't a prince from the start, he was a thief so for me it plays on teh bad boy and I totally love that (as well as flynn rider has facial hair, a rarity in Disney XD)

Though i do prefer Disney's hand drawn and older stuff, i did love that movie a lot.
I liked Mother Gothel, like a few others here did, to a extent. she made me think of Frollo in a way, it sort of made me think, okay very much think, of Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is my Fave Disney film.
Drakath...

I loved the movie. I saw it in theaters in 3d and it was my first 3d movie so it s a big event for me. I ended up ducking a lot. My husband laughed at me. But I also own it now and my two kids love it. For being an evil old hag mother gothel took care of her really well. I love her songs and voice. The song mother knows best is my fav.
Tangled was one of those adorable children's movie that filled the niche, they needed another movie to k=come out and it fit the bill perfectly. I love it, as do my nieces and nephews.
I thought it was very cute and very Disney-ish. The only thing I didn't like (and it's one thing I hate in just about every movie) ... was the singing. I'm not saying no movie can have any singing. But to randomly burst into a musical number in the middle of a conversation? That's irked me about many movies.
I liked what Tarzan (the only example I can think of) did. The songs were in the background. The characters weren't singing all the songs. That's just my opinion of course ^^;;
But overall, I did like Tangled! D8
As fabulous and pretty as they are, Ulti's avatars are always male~
Please use "he"/"him" or "they"/"them" pronouns when referring to me please <3
I was actually surprised by this film. It was one of many whose trailers gave me the impression that it would be stupid.
But it was actually a very touching and cute story with beautiful music. I fell in love with 'I See the Light', and the king and queen who never gave up on their lost daughter. Such beautifully powerful characters despite that throughout the entire film neither of them ever said a word.
The humor was also quite enjoyable as opposed to the stupidity the trailers had implied.
I enjoyed this film a great deal.
