I'm tired of Obama, too.

I really think Obama was a mistake. We really should of gone a conservative route. Someone who would cut spending. In NY, half the budget or better goes to the pockets of Congress. Congress (State and federal) were to be PART TIME jobs. Yet they make in our state over 100k. My mom, a NURSE, with a full time job, makes 70k at base pay I believe or 68k, I can't remember exactly. How can someone who is part time earn at least 30k more than a nurse, full time? It's disgusting. Not to mention our welfare here is grossly over paid.

We should try to stay away from politics in here.

I agree. There is too much spending on government.

Nor are they able to manage money well.

Just my view: Conservative isn't really better, Bush cut taxes thereby giving the government less money to work with in the first place.

Congress pay has gone up over the last 150 years because Congress is an important job, and at various points over the last 150 years, Congress has voted to raise their pay bit by bit. If you want to be upset about BS, be upset about the Wisconsin Teacher Unions that have Teachers making around $150K a year.
