Logically: You can't turn this back into the #1 group by rejecting applications. You won't feel better by trying to appeal to more people, so my last suggestion before leaving you to your thoughts is to be yourself. People will join or not as they see it, regardless of action. What's appealing for one might be insulting to another. That just happens to be how things turn out sometimes. The important thing is to outlast the competition to be the best. Ups and Downs are inevitable, but the chances of hitting a mark you don't shoot is 0% exact.

Tons of people hit walls they could not overcome at first. But that doesn't mean that they could never overcome it.

But I won't debate you, anymore. I'm pretty sure that whatever else you read from me will only serve to irritate you.

I agree with Mirror Gardens....the fire you once had has dimmed from what it was before. Regardless, as I said, it's your thread to close or keep as your see fit.

Poggio, I'm sorry but what you have said is extremely extremely annoying to me. That is so rude! You have no idea what has happened to Cronis. People's lives get busy, just because they aren't here every living second of the day.... That just was so rude that you would accuse him of not caring about this thread. Because literally no one seemed to care. I have been popping my head in and there has been nobody here. Because of that how should he expect for people to know that they actually care? Just because he said that he's going to close it now all of you care..... I'm sorry but that just doesn't seem like very loyal people.

I actually started a obituary when I heard the news at first. Then I stopped to debate it a little. Then I gave up. *shrugs* Regardless, there's no reason to start conflict, anymore. He who has started the story has chosen to end it. That's it.

@Airina P.S. I don't; I was curious as to why one of the most powerful (and in my humble opinion, the most intimidating) thread owners would suddenly give up. I tested him and got my answer.

That's a silly arguement. Last I checked Cron wasn't the only one with a life. As the others said before the entire site has showed a lag in activity. Not everyone can be on the site 24/7 and things happen. Situations where people can't post, for exampe I myself have been swaped with work and school work which has affected my own posting. Just because things have been slow recently is no reason to close the thread without at least giving the loyal members a decent amount of time to come back. (Two weeks is hardly a fair amount of time, my exams alone consume 3-4 weeks)
