It doesn't really matter to me where people live as long as they aren't stupid enough to assume I live where they live. I mean, no not everyone lives in the US. We've been here all the time. But they rarely asks. :/ I understand what you mean though. Sometimes it feels like you're a little alone. Especially when they go like "oh hay it's 100 degrees outside". Celsius onegaishimazu?

Lol yes! XD It's rather confusing, and I feel really bored when I got a day off and got time to check places like Trisphe... and nobody is there ;^;

And when I say '15 degrees' I get from all side bitching I have to include 'celsius' to it. Wtf?

Celsius is used in more places than Fahrenheit is. xD They don't include it so why should we? :/

Yeah exactly. I got slightly upset about that, because it felt like it wasn't fair. Especially the way they said it to me was really rude D<
I hope it never happens again. I mean, it's kind of obvious sometimes when it's celsius or fahrenheit if it's about the weather, unless they talk about something around 40 or 45.

It's ridiculous some people act as if they're more important. Gladly not everyone, it's usually just a few but still annoying >_<

Amsterdam isn't that great really. I'd recommend to go to Den Haag or Rotterdam instead. Amsterdam is filled with foreigners, even the people that work there... I had to talk English to order a cup of coffee =_= wtf?
