@espy: idk but i've asked my hair dresser about why my hair flips out on one side and under on the other (my hair is super straight too) and she said that everybody has cowlicks, and girls especially have it around the neck area (if that makes any sense) and that it can cause hair to not lay right or flip out/ be curly on the ends. ? idk. but as far as getting it straight w/out curling/flat irons, i can't think of any. sometimes putting hair in a ponytail works, but then you get that crimp from the hair tie.
