Just read the conversation. It wasn't being used in a derogatory manner, so I see no reason for her to take offense.

Part of me is tempted to post a few things about that, or religion, or politics......though I won't just to keep from causing trouble. That does piss me off a bit as well......

...It especially hit a chord with me simply because how are we to know what one looks like in real life, let alone their opinions on these things...That and even though we both apologized for saying it and explained it was not meant in offense, they both still pretty much reprimanded us and acted like we were 5 and just heard and repeated 'the N word' (I don't like actually using the word, never really have unless quoting the Boondocks)...

Agree Kali, that was the feeling I got from their reaction. It was over reaction on their part, but nothing that can be done....

I use that word but only around friends that dont mind me using it... bc we have a connection from back in elementary school... And they know i dont use it offensively.

And then that's fine...but I've pretty much called Gingers Gingers since I learned the word and what it meant...I mean really...and I kind of want to know why they find it offensive, I mean seriously, how is that offensive? Is it because of the 'Gingers have no souls' thing from South Park, cause if it is then everyone should take offense to actually calling someone a Jew...

And idk why they dont... i kind of take offense when someone calls me a Polak but only if its someone i dont know...

You learn something new everyday...I don't take offense to being called slightly derogatory terms for short people, but then again, I've found that if I call myself them, no one else will in an offensive manor cause it obviously doesn't matter...Although I do take offense to anyone else calling me something along the lines of 'chunky/pudgy/fat/large/overweight/obese/anything else along those lines'...I nearly punched the shit out of a guy who literally called me fat to my face when I was already having a bad body issue day...

your not fat... but yeah i take it to offense bc they tend to use it to make fun of me or just bc im polish...

I'm sorry people make fun of you for being Polish...I mean I guess the best way to keep people from making fun of you for it is to make the comments they themselves would make...I kind of adore that you're Polish...it means you know where your heritage lies...unlike me, I'm kind of a mutt when it comes to heritage...lol...

Like i said before hun i love the way you are. Nothing should be changed about you. No issue can get in the way of that.
