Personally, I tend to feel better by singing until my throat gets sore. It's a proper release of emotion, keeps my mind occupied, and fills the time well. Plus the fact that it can be done while doing other things... Unless you're like me and can't write or type anything at the same time as you sing... But, knowing what makes you happy is a very important thing to have. The simpler, the better. Especially for those with... less than stable emotional standings. -smiles-

I don't know how well I sing, but I enjoy doing it at any given time, for any reason. Quite often in fact I get distracted from what I was doing or talking about for the sake of enjoying a song. I'm terrible in groups, though. I did a school musical once and had a solo. Complete choke and failure. It was horrible.
Do you know what else makes me happy? Besides singing, and chatting with you fine folks? Blueberry scones, black tea, and blue raspberry salt water taffy. Oh, the simple pleasures of life. Living in a single moment, a single taste on your tongue, weaving its way through your mind and body, washing away all of the doubts-
