Hell those are some of my favorite games. Fire red man <3 played that at least 6 times and I played leaf green 3 times now. (Current nuzelocke challenge is in leaf green)

I guess I get so fired up about people hating on the new games because I /used/ to be like that.
I used to scoff at the icecream pokemon(tech isn't even icecream bros. Read up on that shit) until I actually gave it a chance and learned it was pretty much a great. Ice type pokemon. (Has the highest Stat of any non legendary ice pokemon tying with lapras. Need I say more?)
I used to blindly hate gen 5 for things I didn't even understand. I was so naive.

Then I gave it a chance and learned.
Omg. Its just like all the other pokemon games. Except better!! More moves. More abilities. More EVERYTHING! so much fun.
I mean if you actually give it a chance and you still hate it. Ill accept that its just not for you
but if you don't even try. And blindly hate it based on others opinions and what you think based off looks then I wont take what you have to say seriously. I will just think 'oh another gen wunner who doesn't know what they are talking about' and dismiss it. (While also backing up the games)

And a lot of your reasons to hate thr game apply to gen one as well. So you really /cant/ use those reasons at all.
