The one housemate tries to gaslight me, too. she'll bitch that I'm so expensive to keep, but then not even 20 minutes later, say I should add non-essential items to the grocery list.

well, you could make a note that she specified the item, or even better have a place where the list is kept and if someone wants something added they have to write it in themselves so you can take a picture and have proof? and if they don't want to participate the items don't get added?
