I really don't get people who laugh at morbid/death related things... seems like being sadistic for the heck of it. unpopular opinion I guess.

Everybody laughs at the propeller guy, Fey. I haven't even seen the movie and I still know about him. He even made a cameo in the song Billy Crystal wrote for the Academy Awards that he hosted that year ;).

I'm usually one of those people that doesn't laugh at the funny parts, and people then stare at me, "why aren't you laughing?" I have had a go as some horrow movies though, the ones that try so hard to be scary and end up being either rediculous, or...let's just stick with rediculous. B-grade horror movies (slashers in particular) don't really count though. My sister and I play little games, pointing out what various unnecessary items (like 6 foot long sharped edged screws) are going to kill people and it what order people will die, Great fun, as long as the movie is appropriate for it.

Not sure what's to "get" about it, but then, thinking about it I'm not sure I could explain why Jason X can be funny but Hostel I refuse to watch. Maybe it's the unbelievability of it all.

Horror movies. I find most of them hilarious and often get dirty looks from others I watch them with (especially if a couple of them are practically terrified to tears).

People who watch horror movies for the sake of being scared are masochists.

Speaking of scary stuff.. Chi got me to watch people playing a game called "Amnesia: The Dark Descent"

Yeah. I don't like being disturbed when it comes to horror movies, hence I refuse to watch certain films that seem to glorify violence and torture. I"m a slasher fan, with a penchant for shark films. Jaws is a great movie, one of my favourites. There isn't actually lot of visible gore at all, as opposed to Piranha! (exclamation mark included in the title I believe) Now that in an exercise in gratuitus campy violence!. It even has a cameo by Richard Dreyfuss. :)

The gore depends.. I didn't like ghost ship.. I don't like ships (haunted, sunken, in video games, or in life) they creep me out. and Ghost ship just made that fear worst. xp


Oh! Each time I leave my room I have this strange habit of scaring the false teeth out of my mom. xD I walk quietly (even with chains on my pants) and she doesn't hear my door shut or my chains and jumps when I say hello or tap her on the shoulder xD

Heh. I have that habit too, though I don't wear chains. My friend used to called it "poofing." He turns around and there I am: I "poofed."

I liked Ghost Ship, or at least enough to flick to it when it's on TV, but then, I do like ships. :), I grew up on an island so I had better be okay with ships or it was no visiting relatives for me. Little boats conern me more than big boats though. Easier to tip.

Mom hates it xD and I always have to tell her "My door and my chains makes plenty of noise.. not my fault you refuse to wear your hearing aid" xD

awwwwwwww, I'm just like everyone else at my amusement at propeller guy? that makes me sad :( But that's okay, I know I'm a bit unique cause I laugh when others cry, stare when others laugh and AVOID scary movies like they're going to eat my eyes...oh...wait...I'm sure that's in some of 'em.

Oh, and I like bad action movies, so see, I are a special snowflake!

yeah lol..like that one part you laugh at that nobody else laughs at. I'm just weird like that, i guess.
